Many of the UNIVERSE effects are free, while some are available as a Premium subscription, but you can still try them out with a 30 day demo.īecause of the new technology UNIVERSE is based on, you’ll need Mac OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion) or later, or 10.9 (Mavericks) or later. To be able to use the UNIVERSE Particular FX Pack, you’ll need a copy of Trapcode Particular (download a trial version here) and access to Red Giant UNIVERSE, which you can get here. I’ve incorporated many of the effects into the FX Pack so you’ll be able to see for yourself how good these effects are and how quick they render.
